John in Hawaii (1997)-Aloha

It is very funny, that when you look back at old memories you start to think.. "Damn, I was so good looking it its makes me sick!!!?
I developed a very good friendship with a group of native Hawaiians, while singing a Bob Marley song at a karaoke bar. Later, they invited me to their place of employment, the Polynesian Cultural Center... I got in for free or as we say on the streets of Baltimore,"I got the hook up", and participated in a luau and ate the swine.
Every tourist should visit... they have the men who dance with fire, the hula dancers (Hot!!!, I mean the fire guy or the guy who dances with fire), and my big friend, who was attending the Mormon College in town, and was a drummer...it was cool hanging out with him before and after the shows.. I truly loved the spirit of the people, "Just Smile and be happy". My extensive knowlegde of anything and everything Bob Marley had made me a instant Karoke star...I was like the Black Michael Jackson.

And my hidden talent to make sand skyscrapers on the beach made me famous....for a few minutes...

After I left Hawaii...I flew in to Seattle and met my future wife Nicole in the Passenger terminal at McCord Air Force Base, Washington State.
